Tablets IX XX

In Tablet XI Gilgamesh quotes "Enkidu has died. Must I die too? Gilgamesh be like that?"(pg 48) This shows how Gilgamesh is feeling after Enkidu. He is feeling guilty and beliefs it was his fault Enkidu died. So in the tablet XI Gilgamesh  is going to  Ulbartutu son Utnapishtim  who knows how to avoid death. So as Enkidu starts his journey to find Utnapishtim he starts to feel scared because there is no one to be with him in this situation. For Gilgamesh be able to get to Utnapishtim was by crossing the mountain named Mashu. So Gilgamesh was extremely frighten so he prays to be saved. But at last he is able to cross the mountain by two twins opening the doors. I relate this to my life because what Gilgamesh did in this tablet was what every good friend will do to save his friend from trouble.  As an example when both of the friends gets in trouble but one was already in trouble you blame yourself   so the other one is safe. This what Gilgamesh is trying to do in tablet XI.
While in Tablet X Gilgamesh gets convinced that he should not feel guilty because Enkidu death. The one who convinced him was the Tabern keeper named Veiled Siduri . Veiled Siduri tells Gilgamesh instead he should be proud of what he an Enkidu did together. This makes the reader understand how good Enkidu and Gilgamesh friendship was extremely good.
